Biography
Aight yo!
(no, I dont really talk like that, but my students do, so it's fun to semi-mock them, they're so entertaining. I teach in the Chicago Public Schools and yes, I enjoy it tremendously.)
So . . . sup baybuh?!
Here lay my songs in all their glory and imperfections. I generally like two styles, hard core electronic music you would use to weightlift to, or music that makes you drift off deep in reflective thought. Not too much inbetween except the occasional funky happy beat song thrown in there.
Currently, I'm just a wee-little baby when it comes to making music. Just started 6 or 7 months ago,
I'm currently trying to organize all my songs. I have two main ideas I wanna develop.
1) A "Weightlifting Symphony" where I take the hardest, most intense songs I can, stretch em out to 45 minutes or so, and just listen to it while I lift. (lifting is one of my other hobbies)
2) A "Life of the Phoenix" Symphony (if the past 5 years of my life were a movie this would be the soundtrack) where I have 6 movements. . .
A) The Spiral Down
B) The Mourning and Wallowing at the Bottom
C) The Battle for Resurrection
D) The Flight for Happiness
E) The Landing and Reflection
F) The Celebration of the New Life
I kinda got some of the songs for both of these already here, but I'm nowhere near thinking I have em done as a completed idea. It's a looooong term project for me. I got time.
Anyway, hope you enjoy my songs, I never thought it would be so addictive to want to create music!
Best of luck to all
