My name is MEDL4 I am 1/3 of the group "THE METAFORTUNETELLERS" including "BYEAR" and "TECATE VALENTINO" we make hip hop music because its what we feel we should do. And we do it damn well.
i started making beats about 9 months ago, my friend gave me reason 4.0 and it opened a whole new world to me. i always just wrote and spit over whatever beats i could scratch up from local producers, M.F.T. or cats i met online that wanted to link up.
Ive been in this since 06 as an emcee but a fan of good music especially hip hop since an early age.
so now i own an AKAI MPK49 (after buying the korg nanokey with the cheap *** keys falling off), i have no formal musical background except a few recorders and dollar store harmonicas my parents gave me when i was young. im slowly learning how to play melodies and evolve at mastering sound frequencies and eventually be able to know the ins and outs of start to finish music. im open to collab with any dope producers that want some really good sh*t over their beats. also if any emcees that aren't toy hear a beat and want me to make them one, no doubt, if your cause is righteous i shall hook you up for no charge.
I'm currently at this time working on a 2ND solo album (1st is available on myspace all 4track recording)
which i plan on producing a good amount of.
